I considered the movie rental places, but by their nature they stock only the more popular titles. Also, their prices are are not to be ignored. Tastes in entertainment are varied and mine differ from many others. What I want is rarely stocked in the rental places.
To me, most all of the entertaining movies are those made many years ago, especially the musicals, comedies, and mysteries.
It seems strange that years ago comedians were able to be funny without being vulgar and still receive standing ovations. And there was never an inference that someone might be inferior to someone else.
While not the perfect times, families could at least find good, entertaining movies to watch together without being offended or denigrated.
No more! With a lot of luck you may be able to watch 5 or 10 minutes of a movie without a stream of curse words or without seeing someone's naked butt staring out at you from the screen. I do not understand the need for all this. As someone a bit older than your average movie fan I am quite familiar with all those words. I have used them and know what they mean. So, there is no fascination for me in hearing them from someone else. I have also already seen my own rear often enough in the mirror that I am now able to recognize another one when I see it, so I feel no need to look at someone else's.
I was very surprised and very happy when I found a site offering more than 80 million DVD quality movies with unlimited access and unlimited downloading of all the movies you might want for as long as you wish. There is a one time cost of less than $40 - but everything in life comes at a cost. Consider how few rentals you might get for that $40. And consider that the next time you want to watch a movie you won't have to go out in bad weather.
This site has a fine selection of movies! Both old and very recent movies are available; many of the movies I found were ones I had watched with my parents as a child. They provided me with some very pleasant memories.
I found this great surprise at the ABC Music Company and am very happy that I did. I think you will be just as happy. This site seems to have gathered into one place most everything you might be looking for in the way of entertainment.
On this site you will be able to access hundreds of millions of movies, music, videos and games. Downloading of full CDs is available from some of the sites. Mac users will also find downloads here. There are downloads for MP3 players and other hand held devices. If you cannot find something you can enjoy at this site, it probably doesn't exist.
